The Hammer Jam

Friday, November 14th

Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, storytelling, and impact! The 11th Annual Concert for Classrooms – The Hammer Jam, fires up the Bella Concert Hall with powerhouse performances by The Road Hammers, Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar, Michelle Wright, and more special guests.

Part concert, part radio-show-style jam, this one-night-only event raises funds to support Classroom Champions — helping students across Canada gain confidence, resilience, and connection through mentorship. Presented by Mawer Investment Management, all proceeds from the concert will go directly to reaching thousands of children across Canada through Classroom Champions.
Classroom Champions is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping K-8 students build the confidence, perseverance and fundamental skills they need to excel and reach their potential in school and beyond. Since 2008, we’ve partnered with Olympic, Paralympic, professional, and collegiate athletes to educate and inspire students across North America.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
