The Greg Herman Trio with Dusty Dee Litchfield

Saturday, April 18th

The Lethbridge Folk Club Presents the Greg Herman Trio at the Army Navy Air Force Veterans Club in Lethbridge on Saturday April 18th, at 7:30

Active as a musician since 1985, Greg writes about the land, family, history and any ideas he can catch. Home is the family ranch north of Medicine Hat, and his style reflects the influences from the community and many types of music. Greg Herman is a songwriter of great talent and craft, his lyrics rising authentically from the southeastern Alberta plains. The place he lives and works. The place where he was born. When you’ve been too long away, Greg’s songs beckon you home.

Local Singer/Songwriter, Dusty Dee Litchfield, will be opening.

“Dusty Dee has a distinctive voice and a quirky sense of humour… as well as a knack for telling a good story” – Richard Amery, LABeat.ca.

Dusty comments that “It is the song, Lyric, Melody, Harmony, and Rhythm. They all combine to captivate the listener. It is the song.”

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
