Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys

Saturday, March 2nd

Presented by The Bow Valley Music Club

Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys

Led by fiddling wiz Gordie “Crazylegs” MacKeeman, the roots quartet features all-star pickers and singers, with everything from down-home country to reckless rockabilly to intricate bluegrass. Crowds all over the world stare in wonder as Gordie plays with his trademark joyful abandonment.

Ryland Moranz

Both in his own right as a solo artist and as an integral member of Leeroy Stagger’s potent alt/country outfit, the Rebeltone Sound, Ryland spends considerable time traversing the highways and byways of Canada, the US, and Europe, empathetically noting all around him, absorbing the images, stories, events, and experiences of the road as he goes. In time, the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter turns all that he sees into the songs he shares.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we’d love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
