Takao Tanabe: Printmaker at Glenbow at The Edison

This free exhibition showcases the incredible print works of Takao Tanabe. At 98 years old, this exhibition is dedicated to his printmaking and highlights the unique medium in which he has honed his skills for over 75 years. Many prints on display have never been exhibited until now.
Tanabe, born in 1926 in BC, is a distinguished Japanese Canadian artist renowned for his landscapes. The influence of Canadian landscapes on his artistic vision has led him to capture the serene and expansive beauty of the natural world. This exhibition is must-see!
Open September 21 to November 24, tickets can be booked for free at glenbow.org. Glenbow at The Edison is on the second floor of The Edison building, across the street from the Fairmont Palliser Hotel. Our gallery is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
