Good tunes, great cause! Join Ski for Light Canada at The Blues Can for Stomp & Glide, an energetic evening of live music and community connection celebrating inclusion, ability, and access to the outdoors.
An All-Blind Musical Fundraising Event, generously hosted at The Blues Can on October 15 (5:00–8:00 PM), welcomes everyone to enjoy great tunes while supporting our vision of cross-country skiing beyond disability. Headlined by Sandy Lecour & the Dark Stars alongside special guests, each performance features visually impaired skiers from Ski for Light. Between sets, browse a curated silent auction featuring a wide variety of items and unique experiences—showcasing many Bow Valley favorites alongside plenty more from across the region—then stick around as the fun rolls on into the night with more live music and dancing!
Ski for Light Canada believes everyone deserves the freedom, health, and joy of outdoor recreation. Proceeds support our “One Skier, One Guide” program to pair each blind/partially sighted skier with a sighted volunteer guide, creating a safe and supportive skiing experience.
