Steve Pineo with Horns

Friday, March 21st

Steve is a Calgary musical treasure, playing guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, and lead vocalist. He is a nationally recognized songwriter who has written songs recorded by Paul Brandt (Canadian Man) and Prairie Oyster (Too Bad for Me). His regular band will be joined by musicians playing saxophone and trumpet. YES!! Last time, Steve brought his Elvis show to OTE—who knows what musical magic awaits with this show!

Red Deer Lake United Church is on the south side of the new ring road in SW Calgary. You will find us immediately south of Highway 22X, 8 km west of Macleod Trail S. Turn left at the lights at 53 St. SW then left on Spruce Meadows Green.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
