Soft Revolution with Carrots

Sunday, December 7th

2Peaz Artist Collective invites you to Soft Revolution with Carrots!                                                                                                                               Artists in attendance December 7th 1 – 3pm.  Please check library hours for viewing outside of this timeframe.

As 2Peaz Artist Collective, interdisciplinary artists Melisa Centofanti and Sharon Fortowsky have been creating work on the subject of food since 2017. Together they examine, and challenge, the complex corporate food systems and emphasise the value of domestic work such as cooking from scratch and gardening. They see these acts as minuscule rebellions within our current food systems. 2Peaz selects recipes that utilise local, seasonal, affordable and nutritious ingredients. In this exhibition they focus on carrots.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
