Sinistrio Reunion Concert
After a long hiatus Jon May- Drums, Steve Fletcher-B3 Organ and keyboards and Jeff Drummond- Guitar take the stage together once again as part of Scott Morin’s new series ‘Jazz at the Attic’.
Sinistrio is a groove based B3 organ trio that seamlessly brings together ambient modern jazz and retro soul. The band’s last release– ‘The Perfect Human’ is their 4th studio album . Released in late 2013, the album received great reviews and was nominated for a WCMA. Radio airplay put them in the #1 spot on the earshot jazz charts in Canada for 7 weeks in 2014 . The album is rich in tone and textures, from far out keyboards and etherial guitars to gritty B3 ,vintage drum and guitar tones that blend the perfect balance of old and new.
This burning organ/guitar/drums trio will be playing a super rare show at the funky, intimate space at The Attic.
