The Lethbridge Folk Club presents a live concert with Sid Marty and the band Wailback. The band, based in Pincher Creek, concentrates on arrangements of songs about Alberta, featuring well-aged cowboys, crazy weather, despairing lovers, mountaineers, poets and some charismatic megafauna – as well as the common snipe and miscellaneous other critters. Sid Marty was a park warden in Yoho, Jasper, Prince Albert and Banff national parks. He’s also a published author and poet.
