Shania and Friends

Wednesday, November 5th

Direct from the United Kingdom, the producers of Here Come the Girls present Shania and Friends, a live show reliving all the iconic hits during the decades when Country and Pop collided. The UK and Europe’s leading Shania Twain tribute will bring the energy and the nostalgia backed by some of the UK’s finest musicians in The Cross Country Band.

The first half of the show is fully dedicated to the icon herself, including hits such as Man! I Feel Like a Woman, From This Moment, That Don’t Impress Me Much, Who’s Bed Have Your Boots Been Under, and many more.

Following the sensational tribute, the second half takes you on a musical journey celebrating some of the greatest Country stars of the 90s & 00s, including tributes to LeAnne Rimes, The Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, Lonestar, Lady A, and more.

Shania and Friends features Danielle Sharp as Shania; Julie Gould, lead vocals & bv’s; Roger Troman, keys & second guitar; Alex Johnson, lead guitar; Patrick Noone, drums; Laura Macmillan, fiddle.

Get those boots on, grab your hats, and celebrate an icon of country pop with Shania & Friends.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
