Edmonton’s Broad View International Film Festival is proud to present two new documentaries made by Albertan filmmakers.

Send and Receive / 12 min / Directed by Dominique Keller
International in scope, this short documentary explores the importance of postal workers in small communities and the relationships they form with their clients.

And the premiere screening of:

The Edmonton Storyteller: The Tony Cashman Story / 42 min / Directed by Clare Mullen
An uplifting documentary that follows the remarkable 100-year journey of Tony Cashman, an Edmonton historian, writer, and eternal optimist. From his childhood filled with storytelling to surviving the trials of World War II, and later becoming a celebrated author, Tony’s life is a testament to the promise and hope that thrives in the city of Edmonton.

Directors Dominique Keller and Clare Mullen will be present for a Q & A after the screenings, with a short reception to follow.
