Abigayle Kompst

Friday, June 28th

Abigayle Kompst is a Vegas-born Nashville-based indie/folk songwriter. With a degree in songwriting from Belmont University, she has grown into one of the most unique writers on the musical landscape today.

Abigayle’s songs are relatable, sometimes happy and sometimes sad but always engaging, thought provoking and layered with production values not seen by many artists in todays climate.

With two EP releases under her belt “Vegas,” and 2023’s “Recovering Optimist,” she’s been making waves in songwriter festivals across the US as she’s destined for the notoriety she’s earned from writing songs with a passion and craft very few are gifted with. Abigayle will also be joined by Edmonton’s John Hewitt.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
