Rediscovering the Renaissance
Our first live performance since 2019, this concert offers an opportunity to re-discover some of the beautiful music of the Renaissance, both sacred and secular, as well as to hear some works by modern composers in a similar spirit. Be prepared to hear some long-time favourites as well as songs for Christmas and Advent, such as Praetorius’ joyful In dulci iubilo and Lauridsen’s reverent O magnum mysterium. Learn about the background for some of the music at the pre-concert talk at 7:00 then listen to the music we present at the concert at 7:30.
Joining us for this concert are instrumentalists Ralph Maier on theorbo, and organist Colin Redekop, as well as Paul Grindlay as bass soloist.
Come join us for another excursion into the world of early music!
Tickets $25 regular, $20 student and senior, free to under 18 available at Eventbrite
