Poor Nameless Boy
Catching himself up on the irony of his own intentions, Joel Henderson has inadvertently made a name for himself as Poor Nameless Boy. Exploring the depths rarely fathomed by modern indie folk, Henderson revels in understated authenticity and tenderness, drawing from a deep well of human insight. While his ethereal vocals evoke the spirits of Donovan Woods and Gregory Alan Isakov, its Hendersons raw vulnerability and soul-stirring lyrics that truly set him apart. Since his enchanting albums Activity Book (2013) and Bravery (2016), he’s been a traveller, gracing stages across Europe, Australia, and North America. Taking a respite from extensive touring in 2020, Poor Nameless Boy reemerged on the airwaves with Jean Jackets in the fall of 2021, Maybe Im Lucky in 2023, and Bread Crumbs in 2024.

Joy Robinson and Kaylei McIvor will join Poor Nameless Boy on stage for an in-the-round prior to Poor Nameless Boy full set.
Joy Robinson
Newfoundland-born and Alberta-based singer-songwriter, Joy Robinson, has a passion for creating spaces in which audiences can relax with safety to feel, question, and ponder the messy and spectacular parts of life (and maybe have a laugh or two as well). Her debut 11 track LP entitled “A Little at a Time”, released in 2024, is a pop-infused folk record with sprinkles of traditional Newfoundland instrumentations and contemporary musical theatre influences. She is drawn to lyrics that explore the spiritual and emotional nature of our human existence as well as the quirky and ordinary things that make life beautifully messy.
Kaylei McIvor
Kaylei McIvor, a local Calgary-based songwriter who combines storytelling with unconventional chord progressions. “I enjoy creating music with vivid imagery to pull my audience into the worlds I build with my songs”. Kaylei writes stories that reflect their experiences growing up, being a queer person, and way of processing the world.
