Halfway Home 

Halfway Home is the cosmic folk duo of Amanda Penner and Zackery Wilson Elliott. Joining forces in 2025, the pair have already toured across Alberta and British Columbia while breaking into the western Canadian festival circuit including Nextfest, Peace Valley Folk Fest and Edmonton Folk Festival, where they were crowned runner up for the Best Emerging Artist award. Having grown up in St. Albert, Penner is an Amplify Alumni and the recipient of the Youth Artist Award at the 2024 St. Albert Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts. Concurrently, Elliott brings years of experience to the collaboration, having already penned the album Caught Half Alive and his latest EP, Love Another Day. Together, they blend spellbinding harmonies, and blissful acoustic guitar sounds, leaving listeners tapping their toes and humming along.

Gathering a vibrant collection of St. Albert’s young musicians, Say You Knew Them When will assemble some of the region’s most engaging emerging artists in the genres of folk, country and pop for an evening of inspiring new music: Sharing original work, this talented crew of singer-songwriters will collaborate on each other’s songs, adding musical depth, moving harmonies and earthy guitar soundscapes, as sunset falls across the Arden Plaza Series stage. With a few familiar covers for good measure, this is a night of playful musical camaraderie where we introduce St. Albertans to some of the City’s most exciting new voices. Featuring Savanah Hill, Kieran Johnston, Ange Moulaison-Doucette and Jenn Nguyen.

Amplify Night  

Amplify is a youth arts and leadership development program that organizes inclusive events and activities for youth to express their truest sense of identity through the arts. Run by youth for youth, the program seeks to empower young people to explore their artistic potential, while at the same time cultivating a sense of purpose and belonging within their day-to-day lives. By creating opportunities for success, Amplify develops resiliencies in youth giving them the tools they need to overcome the pressing social issues within their generation.
