Pepperland Plays The Beatles – 60 Years Since Sullivan

Founded in 2011, Pepperland is an Edmonton quartet specializing in the music of the Beatles – featuring CKUA’s Oskar Zybart as frontman. This is not a band of mop-top impersonators, nor is it a tribute band in the traditional or theatrical sense. Instead, Pepperland plays the Beatles as a celebration of music and spirit, giving audiences throughout Alberta a taste of what might have been had the Beatles rekindled their love of live performance in the 1970s and beyond.

2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the Beatles TV debut in North America on the ‘Ed Sullivan Show’! These concert appearances are the ones which changed the world and launched ‘Beatlemania’ internationally. Pepperland is commemorating the anniversary by playing a special ‘Sullivan’ set as part of their 2024 concerts. These performances will include every song the Beatles played across all four of their Ed Sullivan performances – along with many other career-spanning classics!

Pepperland is excited to return to Camrose, and to bring their ’60 Years Since Sullivan’ show to the historic Bailey Theatre on Saturday, September 14. Advance tickets are available, and all ages are welcome to attend!
