Pepperland Plays The Beatles
Founded in 2011, Pepperland is an Edmonton quartet specializing in the music of the Beatles – featuring CKUA’s Oskar Zybart as frontman. Not impersonators, not a ‘tribute band’ in the traditional or theatrical sense. Instead, Pepperland plays the Beatles as a celebration of music and spirit, giving audiences throughout Alberta a taste of what might have been had the Beatles rekindled their love of live performance in the 1970s and beyond.
In 2025, Pepperland continues its popular ‘60 Years Since’ anniversary concert series – celebrating several iconic milestones of 1965! Those include the release of the second Beatles movie ‘Help!’, and the birth of the rock & roll ‘arena concert’ with the Beatles’ legendary performance at Shea Stadium in New York. Pepperland features the complete Shea Stadium concert as part of this year’s performances, along with the band’s own take on the iconic Shea livery.
Pepperland invites audiences to enjoy two hours of fab favourites and career-spanning classics from the Beatles catalogue at the Blue Chair in Edmonton. An intimate evening of food, drink, and entertainment awaits. All ages are welcome, and reservations are recommended!
