Orchestra Borealis is excited to present its final concert of the season at St. Andrews
United Church in Edmonton.
Join us for an afternoon of magnificent music, featuring iconic works from some of the greatest
composers in classical music. This concert will be an unforgettable experience for music lovers,
with a program that showcases a blend of energy, elegance, and grandeur.
The concert will begin with Gioacchino Rossini’s William Tell Overture, one of the most instantly
recognizable pieces in the classical music world.
Next, we have Camille Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto No. 3, a brilliant and virtuosic piece that will
be performed by the talented soloist Valerie Sim.

The evening concludes with the powerful and emotionally stirring Symphony No. 2 by Jean
Sibelius.
Under the direction of Conductor David Hoyte, Orchestra Borealis brings this dynamic
program to life with passion and artistry, making it an event you won’t want to miss.
