National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

Learn about this unique art form from artist Michelle Wiebe, its role in the residential school system, and create a custom themed postcard as a token of truth and reconciliation.

This event is Free & open to the public.

Date: September 30, 2025

Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Location: The Station at Cochrane Crossing | 360 Railway St. W, Cochrane AB

The day will begin with a flag raising and moment of silence, followed by reflections from local First Nation Elders and Métis Knowledge Keepers.

*Bannock and refreshments will be provided for the first 400 people.*

Join us and the Town of Cochrane to create a space for reflection, learning, and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
