Music in the Forest

Thursday, November 6th

An intimate show in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park at the Community Facility on Long Island. To wrap-up the 2025 season of programming with ‘Music in the Forest’ we’re excited to welcome Adrienne Levay to share her stories and music.

A biographical snipped on Adrienne Levay:

Adrienne Levay is a musician based in Vermilion, Alberta. From the west and east coast of Canada to the streets of Budapest, her resonating melodies hold fragments of every place she’s called home. Levay’s genre can be described as folk with a rootsy essence, characterized by its soothing and mellow qualities, creating an intimate and laid-back atmosphere. Her soft yet raw and emotive voice, coupled with acoustic instruments like piano and guitar, fosters an organic and relaxed ambiance. The themes in her music lean toward the nostalgic, reflective, and melancholic, often exploring subjects of love, loss, longing, and personal reflection.

Doors Open 6:30pm; Music starts 7:30pm
Interested in staying at the park? We have Comfort Cabins open in the winter!

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
