Music in the Forest

Saturday, July 19th

An intimate show in the beautiful natural surroundings of Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park at the Campground Amphitheatre nestled in Loop C of the Campground Area. Melyssa Lee and the Education Party will help celebrate Parks Day Weekend with ‘Music in the Forest’ on Saturday, July 19th evening and we’re excited to hear the group’s stories and music.

A biographical snipped on Melyssa Lee and the Education Party:

Together, Melyssa Lee and the Education Party express heartfelt lyrics amidst a sonic playground that augments and unleashes the music’s core and coat. Their approach to fusing elements of old and new bring to life cinematic, mini orchestral expressions of the universal human experience.

Doors Open 6:30pm; Music starts 7:30pm

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
