Midnight Blues Jazz Society Fundraiser for Refugees

Midnight Blue Jazz Society is Calgary’s most entertaining 17-piece big band. With a repertoire ranging from classic 1940’s big band arrangements to modern pop hits, their music draws from diverse styles including swing, jazz, blues, Latin, funk and classic rock. This benefit concert is a fundraiser to support an Eritrean refugee family. It promises to be fun and lively. Parkdale United Church, 2919 – 8 Ave. NW. Adults, $25; students, $10. Tickets available at Parkdale United Church, via Ticket Spice, or at the door.
