Michael Massey

The St. Albert Chamber will conclude its 15th anniversary season with a celebration fundraising concert featuring Michael Massey, solo piano. Michael has been a fixture in Edmonton’s classical music scene for over 50 years. An accomplished and versatile musician, Michael is a pianist, a conductor, an orchestrator, a composer, and a teacher.  Since 1977 Michael has been the music director/conductor of the Edmonton Youth Orchestra Program, inspiring thousands of young musicians. Michael’s program will include works by J.S. Bach, Medtner, Chopin, Debussy, and several of Michael’s own compositions.
