Mbira Renaissance Band Release Party: Mauya

Join the Mbira Renaissance celebrate the release of 2 new singles (Get Up and Mauya) from the upcoming album, Roto Living the Dream.

Come join us and DJ SQ as we celebrate the release of our new singles off our upcoming album, Roto, Living the Dream : Get up (featuring Reckie Lloyd)! and Mauya Mauya.

Doors open at 630 with a specially curated playlist that celebrates the new era in Zimbabwean mbira music and will keep the party going after the live music.

Show starts at 7 with music from the Mbira Renaissance Band and a set from DJ SQ.We are also super excited to welcome back Rumbi Zinyemba (Korora Choirs), and welcome Ereni Perez (Sangea and Mariachi Loco Edmonton) Karen Porkka (Soul Circle Singers, Garth Prince Band) who will also be lending their lovely voices to our live set! Djembe maestro and lead of Sangea, Recki Lloyd will join us as well!
