Lucy MacNeil Trio

Lucy MacNeil brings her trio to Grande Prairie Live Theatre for an intimate show that takes you into the heart of Cape Breton.

Lucy has been performing with the Barra MacNeils for 37 years. They come from a long tradition of Cape Breton music and dance that has been the foundation of creative pursuits over their musical career. Alongside her brothers she has travelled to Europe, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, the United States, Barbados, throughout Canada from Fogo Island, Newfoundland to Iqualuit and a northern Quebec community, Puvirnituq.

Lucy’s ability to touch the hearts of audiences is reaffirming her place as a true musical luminary in the industry. Join us for an evening of folk music, blending tradition with current influences, with the enchanting Lucy MacNeil.
