L’omelette

Thursday, March 20th

Join L’omelette as they celebrate the release of their sophomore album, ‘il faut qu’on bouge’!

  • Featuring:
    • YYC Art-Rockers 36?
    • 5pc Lineup with Natalie Inga
    • Midnight countdown to album release feat. vinyl records & candy bar

L’omelette’s 2025 record, il faut qu’on bouge (we’ve gotta move), portrays a distillment of thematic content. Still digging into humanity, wellness and mental health, their lyrics dive into topics such as fast fashion, body image, rejection of socioeconomic pressures, and the delicate relationship between self and other.

These themes are encapsulated in punchy synth and guitar-driven dance-pop and post-punk numbers. The record was produced and mixed by Calgarian independent engineer and artist Taylor Cochrane at 36? Studios in Calgary, AB / Mohkínstsis, and will be released everywhere March 21, 2025.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
