Lac Ste Anne Community Choir Christmas
Nothing can get you into the Christmas spirit faster than listening to the Lac Ste Anne Community Choir sing you into it!
Our Community’s vibrant choral group, fifty menders strong and now in its fifteenth season, once again invites you to join us at one (or more) of our Christmas season concerts. Artistic Director Deborah Rosen wants to share the experience of choral music with you! With everything from Nigerian Christmas music to a jazzy rendition of “Mistletoe and Holly”, to the heart-wrenching “Conventry Carol”, to Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, there will be something for everyone.
We will be performing on December 5, 7pm, at the Alberta Beach Alliance Church, 4507 47 St. Admission will be by donation, and following the performance the choir will host a reception for you to enjoy social time with choir members, friends and family.
Two special outreach performances are part of the choir’s mandate to bring music to those who may not be able to attend a public concert. The first of the season will be on Wednesday November 26, for residents and staff of the Lakeview Recovery Centre in Gunn. On December 3, the choir will return to the Chateau Lac Ste Anne in Onoway to entertain residents and staff.
