Kiitaamoko O’passkaan Powwow

Saturday, September 13th

Inn from the Cold is proud to host the third annual Kiitaamoko O’passkaan Powwow on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. in the Harley Hotchkiss Gardens.

This high-energy event and community celebration showcases vibrant Indigenous culture, song, and dance. It will be a Traditional Powwow, where invited traditional dancers and drum groups will showcase their talents and culture.

The Powwow will unite the community and provide a safe space for celebration, cultural connection, and education. If you’ve never experienced the sounds and colours of the Traditional Powwow, this is your chance.

Join the dance and experience the heartbeat of the drum! Free for all ages.

Kiitaamoko O’passkaan!

Grand Entry will start right at 12:00 p.m. The first 10 dancers registered in each category will be paid. The first 4 drum groups to arrive will be paid. Dancer registration opens at 10:30 a.m.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
