Ken Valgardson

Saturday, March 8th

The Manluk Theatre is looking forward to hearing the non-stop laughter as comedian Ken Valgardson hits the stage on March 8th!

Ken Valgardson taught school for 35 years and has also been a professional comedian for most of that time. Ken found out that comedy and teaching are very similar except the Grade Ones are more mature and less drunk than a comedy club audience.

Ken is one of the top corporate comics in Western Canada. Ken lives in rural Alberta and he draws from his experiences to entertain rural communities guaranteed to make you laugh with his outlook on life. Comedy has taken Ken all over the world, even entertaining our troops in the Middle East. Teaching has taken Ken on smelly bus rides during field trips with fast food odors wafting around him. Ken says comedy is better.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
