The Red Deer Blues Society is hosting a Valentines Day Celebration a bit early this year. On February 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
The Sweethearts Serenade Valentines Day Party has partnered with our associates “The Friends of Live Blues and Jazz” and Woodlea House Concerts to celebrate the music of Burt Bacharach.
This year, Sweethearts Serenade Features Award Winning Vocalist Kate Emerald, formerly of Red Deer with the John Gray Trio in our “Live Music in the River City” project, supporting women performing live music in Red Deer.
Each year the Red Deer Blues Society endeavors to present and promote female vocalists in out live music performances throughout the city. We kicked off this event last year with three local female vocalists, currently living in Red Deer.
This year, we’re bringing Kate Emerald back home to the River City for an evening dedicated to the love songs of the master himself Burt Bacharach.
Our membership is free and this event is open to both members and guests. Attendance is by reservation only and can be made by contacting us at reddeerbluessociety@gmail.com for more information. Everyone is welcome. Seating is limited so register early.
