Joyful Noise! Casual Choiring

Here’s something a little different for you to do!

Dewinton’s St. Andrew’s United Church is trying a different kind of fundraiser that is hoped to also be a great community builder and attract people from throughout the area to their beautiful little church.

The Joyful Noise! Casual Choiring will be March 25 at 7 pm at the church.

It features the music of Fleetwood Mac. Everyone will join in singing some of the top songs together to get warmed up. Then, Casual Choiring leaders will break down a couple of songs with the participants in Casual Choiring style, then everyone will put them together for the big finale.

No musical experience or choir experience is required for the event – just a love of singing.

It’s kind of a next-gen version of Choir, Choir, Choir or One Song Sing with our own take on things, prepared by members of Foothills Ukulele Orchestra.

Tea, coffee and dessert are part of the package, with the dessert as part of a social time – because a big part of this event is to be a community builder.

The event is also licensed, so beer and wine are also available.
