Jon McCaslin Quartet

The Jon McCaslin Quartet will present an evening of jazz music. Recognized as one of Western Canada’s leading jazz drummers and educators, Jon McCaslin brings excitement and his passion for the jazz tradition and its future to the bandstand and to the classroom. Guitarist Aaron Shorr is known for his articulate phrasing, rhythmic sophistication, and deep harmonic sensibility. Upright bassist Jeff Gammon can’t remember a time when he wasn’t playing music, but when he picked up the bass in his early teens, it changed the course of music for him. Saxophonist Sean Craig is an active member of the local Calgary music scene working with various artists and ensembles.
