John Hewitt Trio

Fensala Hall Concert Series presents John Hewitt Trio on Saturday, March 16th, 2024. This is the fourth of five evenings of music supporting the work of the Stephan G. Stephansson Icelandic Society in Historic Markerville.

John Hewitt is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and filmmaker based out of Edmonton Alberta. His influences include 60s folk singers and films.
In 2022 John Hewitt released two full length albums, performed over 120 tour dates and produced three additional albums in the Edmonton area. 2022 highlights include Performing at the Canmore Folk Festival, Wild Oats & Notes, Waynestock, the Whitefish Songwriter Festival, Black Rose Acoustic Society, New Moon Folk Club, Gallery House Concerts, Lethbridge Folk Club, Nickelodeon Folk Club, Millwoods Canada Day and Mosquito Creek Concerts in Nanton.
His latest album, “Broken Rebels” was release May 24, 2023.
