John Hewitt and Abigayle Oakley

Sunday, March 1st

John Hewitt and Abigayle Oakley will be performing at the Masonic Hall in HIgh River on Sunday March 1st at 3pm, doors opening at 2:20 pm.

John is known as one of the hardest working musicians in Alberta, performing up to 150 shows per year. He has released 7 albums to date and isn’t showing any signs of stopping.

Abigayle Oakley falls directly out of the lyrical back pocket of the likes of John Prine, not taking life so seriously but making it sweet when she does.
Living in Nashville, she released her first album in 2022 and released her third record set in 2025.
Her music style is folk/americana/indie.

Seating is limited, this is a non-alcohol all ages event.
100 percent of proceeds going to the musicians.

Complimentary desserts and refreshments will be served.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by contacting Kevin at zipedde457@gmail.com

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
