Joel Frahm Trio

Joel Frahm is beloved by jazz fans worldwide as a master of the tenor saxophone. With musicial interests that span jazz, funk, rock and blues, Joel combines technical mastery with a deep and sensitive emotional delivery. The Ottawa Citizen sums it up: “Joel Frahm is widely known for his effusive creativity, rollicking positive spirit, technical fluidity and versatility.”

Joel is joined by prolific bandleader and composer Ernesto Cervini on drums and composer and bandleader Dan Loomis on bass.

The Joel Frahm Trio released their latest album, “The Bright Side” (Anzic Records) in 2021 to rave reviews including a 4-star review in Downbeat Magazine and a feature on NPR’s “Fresh Air”.
