Jessie Bird

Wednesday, May 20th

Join us at Little Brick for an intimate River Valley Sound with Jessie Bird, where music and stories come together in a cozy setting.

River Valley Sound is your chance to enjoy intimate performances by some of Edmonton’s most beloved singer-songwriters, hosted in one of Edmonton’s oldest homes-turned-café. Come sit by the fire, enjoy a wonderful beverage and food pairing while hearing music performed up close. The evening includes a question and answer period with the artist, where the audience has the chance to get to know the performer on a personal level.

In May, Little Brick welcomes Jessie Bird. Nominated for Roots Artist of The Year at 2026’s Country Music Alberta Awards and winner of the Alberta Dreams Song Contest in 2025, Jessie has firmly established herself as one of Alberta’s most talented songwriters and performers. Her music communicates a deep understanding of the human experience. While expressing true depth and insight, Jessie delivers her songs in a way that is entirely refreshing and accessible, all the while drawing on classic country sensibilities that will make you lean into every note she sings.

Come join us for an evening you will not soon forget!

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
