Jazz Night

This intimate concert will feature a program of jazz standards and holiday favourites. The evening will combine the warmth and elegance of the season with an authentic and distinct performance. A special drink menu and happy hour pricing will be offered by Bar Oro.

With a deeply personal approach to her artistry, vocalist Cara Lianne McLeod captivates audiences with her disarmingly joyous and meaningful approach to music. She’s thrilled to be joined by two of Edmonton’s finest musicians for this beautiful program! Since beginning her radio show In & Out of Love on Big E Radio, Cara has become even more enamoured with the concept of love in all its iterations, and is thrilled to be returning to the Yardbird Suite in March, 2026, with a new setlist of stories and music all about love!

Andrew is a first call musician and composer in the Edmonton area. He has worked with such notable’s as PJ Perry, Jack sample, Alfie  Zappacosta and the Edmonton Symphony. He has six of his own solo CDs as well as performances on many others.

Mike Lent has long been considered one of Canada’s premiere bassists. Because of his skill, sensitivity, and versatility, he has backed great artists for more than 30 years. Mike has toured, performed and/or recorded with a long list of jazz, blues, and rock greats, including Sheila Jordan, Mike Nock, Mark Murphy, Jim McNeely, Lee Konitz, kd lang, Jann Arden (Musical Director), and Long John Baldry. Mike has appeared on many international stages, including Royal Albert Hall and Radio City Music Hall, and on TV shows like Johnny Carson, David Letterman and Jay Leno.
