Jazz Hutch Quintet – Remembering Chet Baker

Wednesday, April 2nd

A special upcoming performance by the Jazz Hutch Quintet in the Cliff Bungalow – Mission Jazz Series at 8PM on Wednesday April 2nd! A project inspired by supporters telling YYC Music Awards Nominee vocalist Jazz Hutch (aka Jim Hutchison) that his singing reminded them of Chet Baker. Hence this performance will be “Remembering Chet Baker” with Jazz Hutch on vocals along with the twice Juno Nominated Al Muirhead on trumpet, supported by the excellent jazz pianist Chris Tauchner and the outstanding Jeremy Coates on bass and Andy Ericson on drums!
The music starts at 8PM but doors open at 7:15PM so it is recommended that attendees be there early to obtain a good seat at this very popular series. $20 cash at the door, $15 for CBMCA Members and Seniors.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
