Jacob Wutzke Trio: You Better Bet

Montréal based drummer & bandleader Jacob Wutzke leads a fierce jazz trio in celebration of his newly released album “You Better Bet” on the Cellar Live record label.

Noted for his exceptional technique, creativity, and ability to listen and improvise in the moment, Wutzke is an in-demand sideman and bandleader. He has performed and recorded with Caity Gyorgy (2x JUNO Award Winner), Ira Coleman, Jocelyn Gould, Bryn Roberts and more, and has been seen performing extensively internationally, notably at Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), Koerner Hall (Toronto), and the Cotton Club (Tokyo), as well as across Canada on the Canadian Jazz Festival circuit.

Having released 3 albums as a leader — “Show Yourself” (2022) “Take it in Stride” (2023) and “You Better Bet” (2024), Wutzke is a prolific performer and recording artist. This show is not to be missed.
