Art Room on 2nd Presents Its First Feature Show: “Intentions” by Megan Weir.

Art Room on 2nd presents “Intentions” by Alberta artist Megan Weir, its first Feature Show, running from April 10 to 25, 2026. The exhibition opens with a public reception on Thursday, April 10, from 5 to 8 PM. Guests can meet the artist and enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
In “Intentions,” Weir explores the beauty and meaning that remain when sounds and distractions fade away. What’s left is “rooted in grit and grace.” This oil painting exhibition centers on mindful observation—inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and notice what truly matters beneath the surface. Her newest collection highlights the animals of the West—horses, cattle, and other wildlife—offering a quieter kind of attention in which each subject slowly emerges from the shadows, asking you to slow down and really look.
