In ᓄᐦᑕᐃᐧᕀ ᐊᐢᑯᑖᐢᑯᐱᓱᐣ, nohtawiy askotâskopison (My Father’s Cradleboard), Morgan Possberg Denne explores the affects of lost traditions and knowledge that was unable to be passed down through generations. Through crafted objects and works, Possberg Denne is able to express their inner truths and imagine what could have been.

ᓄᐦᑕᐃᐧᕀ ᐊᐢᑯᑖᐢᑯᐱᓱᐣ, nohtawiy askotâskopison (My Father’s Cradleboard) is now exhibiting at The New Gallery from November 18th – December 22nd and features Morgan Possberg Denne’s beautifully crafted objects made from elk hide, fish skins and more.

The exhibition’s reception will be held on December 15th, 7PM at The New Gallery in Calgary.
