Il Giardino Armonico

Saturday, May 7th

French baroque music for a number of combinations of 1 and 2 violins, cello, viola da gamba, and harpsichord, including works by Clérambault, Couperin, Rebel, Corrette, Leclair, Barrière, and de la Guerre.

We will feature musicians who have roots in Edmonton, or are current Edmontonians. Baroque violinist Paul Luchkow grew up in Edmonton but has made Victoria, BC his home. Harpsichordist Christopher Bagan was also raised in Edmonton and is now residing in Toronto. Violinist Laura Veeze and Josephine van Lier both grew up in the Netherlands and are happily making their living as musicians in Edmonton.

You may attend this concert in-person or attend virtually via livestream. The event will remain online for ticket holders for 7 days after the performance!

With changes in restrictions, we will no longer require proof of vaccination, although our musicians are fully vaccinated. Masks are no longer required, but we continue to encourage mask use! We will continue to stagger seating and thank you for respecting everyone’s personal space.
