Icelandic Indepence Day Celebration

Saturday, June 13th

This year, help us celebrate Icelandic Independence Day in Markerville on Saturday, June 13th! This outdoor event starts at 12:00 pm at the Creamery Courtyard.
Visit the Viking Village with the Ulfraendi Viking re-enactors. Events include Games, Stories, Bouncy House, Crafts, Photo Booth, Vinarterta samples, Interactive Group Painting, and Siggy + Svein’s Viking Voyage. Food and Beverages are available for purchase.
At 2:30 pm there will be free Ice Cream for the kids!

The event continues at Fensala Hall at 3:30 pm, starting with the Crowning of the Fjallkona, an Independence Day Program, and Potluck Supper to follow.
