This one is cutting it right under the wire folx. Last chance to come get your fill as we wave goodbye to this complete tit of a year.
We’ve placed it niiiice and close to our society’s largest diaplay of capitalism, for sweet sweet escape. Skip your homphobic family’s watever, boycott you know who (if you don’t know, we’ll fill you in) and come fux with some hunky queers instead.
Support local and support your sex drive at the same time. Ayyyy.
Comfort food downstairs. Pizza upstairs. Get dinner before, we dare you!
Special ticket price: $15 in advance (until 8 pm Dec 22)
$20 at the door cash only
Gender Neutral Bathrooms on both floors.
Show at 8:00 pm
Located at The Attic Bar and Stage on the second floor above VeganStreet, in the heart of Inglewood. 1413 9th ave T2G 0T4
Unfortunately; The Attic is accessible only by stairs.
Fortunately; The Attic is the only fully plant based pizza bar in town, that will genuinely fool any carnivore. Don’t forget their many non-alcoholic and gluten free options.
No one turned away for lack of funds – Pay What You Can available for people in the BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Please email us at nobleoneydrag@gmail.com
This event is being hosted on stolen lands. Being settlers on this sacred space gives us the opportunity to entertain but not without first making a life long commitment to acknowledge the original keepers of this land and the pain that continues to be perpetrated by broken systems and promises.
In the spirit of our commitment to reconciliation, it’s critical that we start by speaking the names of the nations who’s homes we are taking up. We reside on the home of the Traditional Territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy which is comprised of the the Piikani, the Siksika, Kainai as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda, Tsuut’ina nations and Métis Region 3. We honour Moh’kinsstis and all nations who are the first caretakers of this revered land.
Second we have an obligation to continuously reflect and take action to repair the damage and harm enacted upon Indigenous communities. Our Cast will address and take action on at least one item, and amplify the work being done on the 94 the calls to action every time we produce an event in addition to bringing awareness and simplicity for our audience to take action as well.
For more information on the calls to action visit: https://www.indigenouswatchdog.org/calls-to-action/

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
