Heritage Day Hootenanny

Monday, August 4th

Red Deer is celebrating our shared heritage & culture together with a free, family-friendly community hootenanny!

Join the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery from Noon to 7 p.m. in the museum and Heritage Square for a day filled with community spirit, summer energy, lively entertainment, and fun activities for all ages:

  • Live Entertainment by folk & country musicians Boots Graham, Tim Hus, Red Hot Hayseeds, Steph Strings and Noeline Hofman!
  • Art Walk & Market
  • Museum & Gallery Tours
  • Art & Print Making
  • Food Trucks
  • Classic, old-timey Games, Races, Campfire Singalongs, and more outside fun!

We’ll be going rain or shine, please remember to dress for the weather, bring something to sit on, and if you want your very own Hootenanny merch, bring something to print on!
