Herbie Hancock Tribute

Nebula Repertory Ensemble Association presents the Music of Herbie Hancock with John Reid, saxophone and flute; Jon Day, piano. Tickets: $35 from John Reid (403) 605-5876 and Eventbrite.ca (inside footwear please).

The ensemble will be performing accessible and interesting jazz works by Mr. Hancock in a variety of styles and genres including: Cantaloupe Island, Prince’s Island (by John Reid), Watermelon Man, Watermelon Woman (by John Reid), Toys, Jessica, Tell Me a Bedtime Story, Dolphin Dance, Maiden Voyage, And What If I Don’t, Driftin’, I Have a Dream (an homage to Martin Luther King), The Maze, Fairytales (by Hugh Fraser), Oliloqui Valley, Little One, and Chameleon.
