Continuing the new tradition of a co-production between RES & ESO in bringing you the seasonal favourite of Handel’s Messiah. Written by George Frederic Handel in just three short weeks during the summer of 1741 for Easter celebrations the following year, Messiah traces the life story of Jesus Christ in three sweeping sections: Prophecy & Fulfillment; Suffering, and Redemption.
