Garden Concerts Series: Sticks and Stone

Wednesday, July 17th

Held on all the Wednesday evenings in July and August from 7 to 8 p.m., this series attracts audience members from the neighbourhood of Wîhkwêntôwin (Oliver) and from all over Edmonton to enjoy music in the lovely and vibrant garden at Church Church.

Sticks and Stone is a percussion trio from Edmonton centered on a marimba-band concept. They perform upbeat, feel-good music with groove including pop, rock, jazz, classical, video-game, Disney and world music. They share joyful music-making with a touch of humour, while playing on the “grand-piano of xylophones”.
