Greetings from the team behind this year’s From Cradle to Stage. We want to invite you to a celebration of 60 years. 60 years of theatre is a big deal. 60 years of blood, sweat and tears, a lot of standing ovations and closing nights. Each production, each cast and crew, and each person over the years have been a part of its story.
To that end, something special and unique has been under development to celebrate Walterdale’s 60th anniversary. This year’s From Cradle to Stage is focusing on stories collected from Walterdale members covering all areas of theatre production. Join us May 13 – 18 to reminisce and see shared stories and personal narratives compiled by Walterdale member Kristen Finlay.
The Cradle to Stage creative team, led by Anika Plitt, has crafted an hour of interweaving stories that begin in the lobby and then continue on stage, as if watching a technical rehearsal.
To those of you who shared your stories and submissions with us, we express a truly heartwarming thank you. Walterdale, its history, and this production could not have been possible without you.
