Flamenco at the DJD Dance Centre

Friday, May 29th

A dynamic collaboration between Flamenco dancers – Claire Marchand, Jane Ogilvie and Rosanna Terracciano.

“Wow…simply, utterly. Such a rich and diverse production of flamenco components. We were enthralled. ”

Following a sold-out 2025 tour, this vibrant Flamenco ensemble takes to the stage with returning special guests – Spanish Flamenco singer and percussionist Francisco “Yiyi” Orozco and Vancouver Flamenco guitarist Peter Mole – in a brand new program of music and dance.

Immerse yourself in an intimate evening of live Flamenco dance, guitar, piano, rhythm and song.

Experience the mesmerizing interaction of soulful singing, intricate guitar, percussive footwork and expressive dance of the Flamenco “tablao”, with the special addition of flamenco piano. Expect the magical intensity, improvisation and inspiration that can only be felt in the live encounter of flamenco artists.

Featuring:
Peter Mole guitarist – Vancouver | Claire Marchand dancer – Vancouver | Rosanna Terracciano dancer – Calgary | Jane Ogilvie dancer/pianist – Edmonton | Francisco Orozco “Yiyi” singer/percussionist – Spain

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
